Support Antarctic Research & Penguin Conservation

Together, we can turn data into action.

For more than three decades, Oceanites, a global Antarctica nonprofit, has been tracking the pulse of our planet through penguins. Now, you can be part of that mission, helping us protect Antarctic wildlife, support penguin conservation, and advance climate change Antarctica research that benefits the whole world.

Adopt a Penguin Colony – Support Antarctic Research

Protect the pulse of the planet, one colony at a time.

Our Adopt a Penguin Colony program is your chance to directly support the science that keeps Antarctica’s ecosystems in balance. When you adopt, you’re funding real fieldwork: the boots, gloves, gear, and travel it takes for our team to collect penguin population data on the ground.

When you give, you’re supporting:

Ongoing monitoring of more than 260 Antarctic sites.

Annual publication of the State of Antarctic Penguins (SOAP) report.

Training and safety of our volunteer penguin counters.
